EXP 2 36 Custom Texture

 

36 TEXTURE

the custom textures is inspired by the dark ,light and shade of the ice-mountain.

 This is the texture applied on the wall in second floor platform.Geometric form texture is perfectly related to the shape of this station.Using differeent type of line ,shadow ,and blank space showing the transition from dark to light in the platform.

Custom Texture Below
the texture is used in the gap between platform and ground floor.There is a shadding area between this gap and the dark theme texture is naturaly match this space.

Custom Texture in Between
 Inspired by the traditional chinese ink painting,this texture is trying to express the idea of making balance and harmonious between light and dark.In this deisign,the texture is playing a role to balace dark ground an light open space.

EXP2- Designer Concepts of Iakov Chernikhov & Bernard Tschumi

IAKOV CHERNIKHOV

BRIEF INTRODUCTION


   Yakov Georgievich Chernikhov (Яков Георгиевич Чернихов) (5 (17) December 1889 in Pavlograd, Yekaterinoslav Governorate, Russian Empire (now Pavlohrad, Ukraine) – 9 May 1951 in Moscow, Soviet Union) was a constructivist architect and graphic designer. His books on architectural design published in Leningrad between 1927 and 1933 are amongst the most innovatory texts (and illustrations) of their time.

CONCEPT

1.      Constructism :To construct and create new idea .Architecture is not only a ‘building’ but ‘symbols’
       

2.      Building has social purpose. It was used to divide states in the society.
 

3.      Line /Face/Circle/Formatting/Object were to be created not fro beauty but to carry out a fundamental  analysis of materials and construction .

Bernard Tschumi

BRIEF INTRODUCTION

      Bernard Tschumi (born 25 January 1944) is an architect, writer, and educator, commonly associated with deconstructivism. Son of the well-known architect Jean Tschumi, born of French and Swiss parentage, he works and lives in New York City and Paris. He studied in Paris and at ETH in Zurich, where he received his degree in architecture in 1969

CONCEPT
